Maybe it’s just me. And then again, maybe something really did happen after I turned 40. My kids grew up and started their own lives. I got older.
Whatever the reason, things changed after I turned 40. I went through some of the worst events of my life, like the loss of two of my grandkids within six weeks of each other.
We all have unhappy periods in our lives. We all also have times that may seem unbearable. If you’re still here, though, it means you survived. Now it’s time to thrive.
So how do you do that? How do you thrive?
The most important secret I have found to finding happiness in life and living a truly great life is to deal with all those toxic emotions and baggage we’ve accumulated. Until you do that, you’ll be carrying that stuff around with you.
That stuff sucks up energy. It’s miserable. It will cause you to get stuck in your unhappiness, and the longer you stay stuck, the harder it will be to get out of it when you finally realize you’re tired of it.
So How Do You Get Unstuck?
For most people, it is probably the $1 million question. I know it was for me. It took me a long time to learn that being stuck and feeling stuck just aren’t the same things. Most of what we are experiencing are feelings, and those feeling can be resolved.
There are a lot of ways to do it. There are many paths to success, and it’s up to you to choose which one will work for you.
What I Did
After I finally escaped the doctors, the medicines, and all the wrong diagnoses, I got the urge to get better.
In 2014 I became a homeless veteran. I lost my place to live. Although my daughters were more than willing to help me until I got back on my feet, I chose to go to a homeless shelter instead. Although I’ve had a lot of ups and downs along the way, and I did end up homeless again, I learned a few things along the way.
The main thing I did was use The Healing Codes. This is a system developed by Dr. Alex Loyd that will help you heal all those toxic feelings and emotions that are holding you back from having the life you want. You’ll also feel better physically too. I know I did. I’m doing things now in my 50s that I simply didn’t think were possible.
I keep a journal. Instead of spewing all those feelings and emotions all over others, I write about how I feel. Writing about how I feel about something instead of writing about the people, places, and events involved has helped to heal those feelings and emotions.
I also got the right diagnosis. I am the adult child of an alcoholic. I’ve since learned that bipolar is an illness invented by the pharmaceutical companies to make more money. Sadly, many people will fall victim to their schemes because they never take the time to find out how to get well, and you can get well.
I’m not saying it will be easy. What I will say is that it can be done. I feel happier and more in control of my life now than I ever have. Others can’t push your triggers and buttons when you don’t have anything to push.
