Unfortunately, you directed this young man to look for women based on their looks (cute –> cuter –> a lot cuter) and also to build his strength based on the fact that he looks good. How about telling him to find sweet, smart, mature, kind, compassionate girls to be friends with? How about telling him to focus on what he does well, his talents, his interpersonal skills (is he kind? compassionate? gentle?)? Are you trying to create a bunch of superficial assholes or good boyfriend/husband material?

"You're not that little boy anymore". I like that line. Through all my teen years I was this skinny dorky "kid" who was nervous to even talk to a girl. Some of my high school acquaintances would do shit like stop a girl on the sidewalk, point at me and ask the girl if she would ever date me. One girl actually looked right at me and said "eew, NO". Lemme tell you, that stuck with me for a very long time. And although it took me a long time to realize it… just like David said, I'm not that little boy anymore.
